Running Club

Open to all 5th-8th grade students. Club meets every Monday and Wednesday from 2:30-3:30.

GEMS Girls' Club is a nonprofit Christian organization that aims to point girls to Jesus and help them get to know Him and His love. GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting in the Savior. The program is open to girls in grades 1-8. Students don't need to be involved at St. John's Lutheran Church & School in order to participate. The girls will have a time for worship, learn Bible truths, and develop friendships. The program will run September through May.

This is the last meeting of the school year at 6:00 pm.  We would love for all our parents to be involved and informed of things going on at St. John's School.

First and second grade students will spend the day downtown Grand Haven doing various activities.

The running club will be participating in the Tri-Cities Family YMCA 2024 Team Grand Haven Custom Molding Kick-Off to Summer Run! More details will be sent home with each runner.

St. John’s eighth grade students will be graduating today during our 10:30 am church service. Students from fifth to eighth grade will be singing during this service.

The Fellowship/Evangelism Board is hosting a church picnic 12-4 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at Rycenga Park.

We will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and all the fixings, plus potato chips, water, lemonade, and iced tea. Please bring an additional dish to pass. We will not have access to electric outlets, so plan your food choices accordingly.

Activities will include a children’s area for face painting, sand painting, a piñata, relay races, and more. A cornhole tournament will be held along with plenty of games and activities for the whole family.

Our site includes use of a Pavilion and picnic tables, but feel free to bring lawn chairs for relaxing with your friends and family. There is plenty of shade at this venue. We have direct access to the playground, baseball diamonds, and restrooms.

Parking is available adjacent to our site. Guests are welcome.
