GEMS Girls' Club is a nonprofit Christian organization that aims to point girls to Jesus and help them get to know Him and His love. GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting in the Savior. The program is open to girls in grades 1-8. Students don't need to be involved at St. John's Lutheran Church & School in order to participate. The girls will have a time for worship, learn Bible truths, and develop friendships. The program will run September through May.

Whitecaps Game
St. John’s is partnering with the West Michigan Whitecaps for March reading month. The entire school read every day for the month of March to earn a ticket to a game.
Pool Party
Join fellow St. John's families for an afternoon of fun at Spring Lake Fitness & Aquatic Center.
Families are welcome to hit the water park 1-3 p.m. April 21. The cost is $10 per swimmer and $30 maximum for a family. Payments will be made the day of the event. All skills and ages are welcome!

Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) test is a computer-adaptive skills assessment that provides parents, teachers and administrators with metrics to measure a student's academic growth and progress. MAP Testing will take place throughout this week.

Prom Through the Decades
The annual school spring auction is today at American Dunes Golf Club. The theme is “Prom through the decades”, everyone is welcome to dress up in their best prom attire!
Please be advised there will be a 3 percent charge for using a credit card. Cash and check will be accepted as well.

Fifth & Sixth Grade Field Trip
The fifth and sixth grade class will be touring the water treatment plant. This field trip is located at the Grand Haven/Spring Lake sewer/water treatment plant. The students will have a chance to tour one of our local treatment facilities and see how our water is filtered and cleaned. Permission slips are required, you can click here or fill one out and return to the classroom. No volunteers needed for this trip.

Palm Sunday/ School Choir
As we worship on Palm Sunday, we will worship with one service at 10 a.m. St. John’s School students will be singing during this service. Students are to be at church at 9:15am. Please wear your Sunday Best. The students will be involved in the processional and will be singing during the service. Don’t forget the Easter Egg Hunt after the service. Parents' Night Out
Spend the evening out with your spouse on March 22!
We're hosting a Parents' Night Out so parents can go out on a date and focus on their relationship. From 5-7:30 p.m. March 22, children of all ages can join us for an evening of activities and food here at St. John’s Lutheran Church. There is no charge to participate.
